Do Republicans really trust CEOs more than the Government?

Republicans are for a Constitutional small government. The Constitution was written to keep the reigns on our Federal government. Even back in the beginning when we had a small Constitutional government, the equivalent of CEOs did not write laws, and nor would they today if we returned to that. For that matter, corporations wouldn't need to spend billions on lobbying like they do today. On top of, you are ignoring the States and the Constitutional authority that they have to legislate. A Constitutional Republic does not mean anarchy.
