Gay adoption in the USA?

As far as I know, Florida is the only state to ban Gay adoptions entirely. All other states allow at least single parent adoption. When you get into couples adopting, things get dicey. Some states allow couples to adopt, some don't. Some allow "second parent" adoption, some don't. Some states have vague laws when it comes to couples.
