How do Christians...?

there have always been and always will be false gods and many of them are similar yes because they are counterfeits of the real thing ... the old testement is full of accounts of the Israelites following other gods and in my opinion thats understood .. its not a big revelation that the egyptians had a similar god or any other u want to draw a parallel to ... its in the bible plain as day ... i differentiate by the Spirit of God ..
