What are the differences in how hay is made and baled vs. how hay cubes are made and baled?

Hay cubes are made with the left over scrap hay from the regular baling process. So the hay that goes into making cubes is smaller and more piecey. Hay cubes are smaller so they are made in a big machine. The hay scraps go in one end and get compressed and are spit out the other end. Hay bales are made by big tractors out in the field.
