Abstinence good or bad?

In today's world it is almost impossible not to have . Billboards, tv shows, and movies are constantly hurling explicit material at us. I can't even watch a mouthwash commercial without getting turned on. Teenage girls are getting pregnant left and right. AIDS epidemics are breaking out. Schools have to close down because their students are infected with STDs. Hooking up and engaging in casual is commonplace. I mean...how is a kid supposed to remain a virgin in such a horny world? What do you think? Is abstinence the way or should you be careful with who you **** with? Let me know...thanks.
