I breathed in the gas from the stove. Am I going to be alright?

I don't know how a stove works and I was trying to heat up some soup. But when I turned the flame knob I just heard something flowing and then there was a smell. I breathed it in for like 10 seconds and turned the knob off. I heard that there's carbon monoxide or something. Am I going to be OK?
