Beeping sounds from my dell adapter?

I have bought this laptop(dell latitude D820) just a few months ago.. but the adapter seems dead . some strange beeping sounds come from it.. no green sound either.. also when it happened it shut down although the battery was full.. I took out and put back in the battery and it started working and it is running on battery now.. I could understand the adapter is dead, but why did it turn off although the battery was full.. and why did it start working just after removing the battery and puting it back in??

Chest pain heart related or not?

To start, I have wolff parkinson white syndrome and low blood pressure. One day at 6 am I woke up hit my alarm clock and immediately went into tachycardia. By 7:30am it stopped and went back to normal but when it did so it caused sharp chest pain. The pain made me jump forward a bit in my seat and swear. I'm used to having tachycardia but never have I had that pain before. I happened 3 more times that day but only when my tachycardia was going back to normal. I told my cardiologist but he said that type of sharp pain is not common with cardiac problems. Is he wrong? It seems to me that it's related to the tachycardia since it always happened when it was reverting back to normal. Should I have a test or 2nd opinion? I've told him repeatedly I have chest pain but its not the same as the sharp pain I experienced that one day and every time I tell him he says he doesn't think it's related to my heart.

My therapist sucks; advice?

If the therapy is not working for you, ask your family physician if you can't be transferred to a different therapist.. and the you have to open up with the new therapist and work with him as a team to get results.. by not trying to put a wall up.. he has to be able to know what your feelings and thoughts are. He should know all that is relevant about your life. in order to be able to help him to get a better idea of how to help you... You say you trust this therapist. That's positive. He should listen though and you should make a point of making him listen, not just talk... I had seen a therapist many years ago and I never had a connection with him, because he just fired questions at me, which I always answered, and by the time I wanted to ask him questions, he told me '' the hour is up'' then he tried me on an experiment some of the pills were mere placebos, the other were a medication, and he told me he had no idea if I was given the placebos, he also told me nothing when i asked what the medication in the other pills was.. he said he didn't know... I started to get feeling very sick whenever I saw food I was feeling sick.. so I did lose 30 lbs in 3 months.. Well that was something, lol. from 140 lbs I went down to 110 lbs. Maybe that was his whole idea.. to make me lose weight.. I was there because I had physical pain which was undetermined.. until it was later by some other doctor diagnosed as ''GAD'' but this therapy didn't help me and after I had lost 30 lbs without being on a diet and not seeing the connection with the pills I was given by the doctor, I thought I must be really ill that I get sick from seeing food, so I just told him that it's abnormal for anyone not on a diet to lose 30 lbs in 3 months and that I want to see an internist again.. go back to my family physician and have that arranged.. they agreed that losing that much weight in such a short time without dieting was not the norm.. so they let me go.. that was the end of my therapy.. not very useful to me.

Tips to losing body fat?

I weighed 206 in high school and I'm 5''11, after graduating in 08 i decided i should lose some weight. After half a year of dieting i droped to 184. Now i've been going to the gym for the past month and a half including some light lifting at home for the past year, I am 190lbs and eat around 2,500- 3,100 calories a day. 4-5 meals of chicken , turkey, some steak, and carbs. This all including a protein shake a day. Again i now weigh 190lbs with 16.8% body fat. I want to drop to about 12-14%. I picked up a little cardio warmup everyday, (3-4 min half mile run) Machine estimates around 70-80 cals brunt but thats probably baloney I also play badminton 2 times a week for 3 hours. I'm taking my daily vitamins for men. Is there anymore advice anyone can give me??

It snows there EVERY winter, and the have a "blizzard of the century" at least once every 10 years. It's only news, because all the US news channels are based in NYC. I was due on the 4th, and I swear to you if I get one more text message or call from someone asking me if I'm in labor yet I'm going to break my phone in half and throw it across the room, hulk style. I get a good 3-6 messages a day from people asking me if I've "popped that baby out yet"....which is annoying but whats even worse is when people who I would obviously let know if something was going on...aka my mother in law....call me every three hours asking if I'm having contractions. Woman, if I was, I would let you know. So believe me my dear, you are not alone. At least we are learning how annoying it is so we won't do that to people when they are pregnant, right? Correct way to shoot a basketball?

Well the way I shoot at least is I have my index finger lined up with the middle of the ball with the other hand to just hold it there. I can see when I shoot that the ball kind of has a little wobble, as in it doesn't spin perfectly straight. Yeah I have noticed in my local store they have not been very busy but the store is in a run down area. They often don't have the very popular items in stock. I however think they will have to close some of their more smaller shops and make redundancies to make themselves more profitable. However if they do not do this the chances are they will go bust. I do not go in to Argos very often as I find you can buy the goods online at HMV or the supermarket such as Tesco much easier and cheaper. I also find that when you go into Argos you normally face a long wait even when the place is almost empty which puts me off their as I am sure it does with other people. I also find alot of the staff in their shops are unfreindly so this puts me off going there and I end up going to their competitors. There shops are often not very clean and this will put people off as well. I have also found that once you have trailed throught the catoluge looking for the item you want and you put int he machine they often say they have the item in stock but when you take the piece of paper with the item number on it to the staff they say there is none left in stock which is really furstrating. I also find in their catalouge they have alot of things which you have to go to Agros extra to get which is miles away in my case which is so furstrating. Is the fisherprice rainforest cradle swing any good?

I have the fisherprice aquarium one which is essentially the same but it's fish on the mobile and water sounds. My son loves the side to side motion. Glamour Photography Model Release Form?

Why won't my Nikon 50mm lens focus on me when I use a remote?

I recently bought a 50mm, f1.8 lens. I am very impressed with it. There's just one thing I'm not sure about. With my old 18-133mm lens, I'd put my Nikon D80 on a tripod and take a few pictures of myself, using a camera remote instead of running to the camera and back to the spot I was previously standing after every individual shot to set the timer up again. However, the photos never focus on me. They focus on the background and so I'm not sure how to change this. I know that if I'm wanting to take a photo of me and a group of friends, I can focus on one of my friends, however if I am taking a photo of just myself, I don't have anything to really focus on. Help? can do? I know of several people who have the same lens as me and who use a remote, yet their photos of themselves come out clear and lovely. Can anything be done?

My dog is 13 1/2 years old. Lately he's been acting weird. He'll walk in to a room and just stop and stare. Doesn't look around, doesn't do anything, just stands there. When he lays down he'll just plop on the floor in any old position and lay there, sometimes for hours, and never move. This morning when we went for our walk he was all over the place - wobbling, stumbling, tripping over curbs. He walks into things, walk right through his bowl, shoes, newspapers, whatever. oh it is possible that you could be....but birth control does silly things to your body as well. I used to get sore on and off all the time depending on how my hormones were that month. Cramps with pregnancy feel different...they are in the middle and its stretching cramps you are feeling. Also you get clear and egg white type discharge. You feel really light headed and sick as well. Have you been taking vitamins and eating right? Have you eaten a lot of Mcdonalds? if so then their meat has a LOT of estrogen in it which will throw you right out of balance. I had to stop eating nasty fast food almost totally because of getting hormonal sick....just a warning. Take a test...you can take one early like that but I would wait until you are a week into your 'period time' and you have not bled at all.

The easiest way to approach this question is to tell you that if you continue to run daily, mixing up speed days with days of long runs and also a couple days rest, your body will continue to build a strong running base and you WILL become faster. It takes time and patience, it's not an overnight deal. There is no magic solution to breathing a certain way or not- as long as you're calm and relaxed while running, your body will do what it's supposed to. It's when you start focusing too much on how to breath, how to run, how much oxygen you're getting in, etc. that you have a hard time running naturally. Consider running a sort of theraputic sport where your body relaxes. You should enjoy running and the more you do, the easier it becomes to run faster and longer.

I am going to take a day off work (i have the vacation time) to go to the beach by myself so I can relax, rest and read. However, I have a husband and 19 month old at home. The biggest struggle of my life so far...?

I am 22 and of Indian decent. In my culture and family, you are only deemed successful if you are in the science field doctor, dentist, pharmacist. i am not really interested in those field but was premed all through out college. I am a typical leo and am a hard worker. I put everything in what i do and i need to do WELL. In college, i did not do as well in my science cles getting mostly B- 's in them. My self esteem took a huge blow and i felt like crap. I double majored and also studied psychology. I loved me psy cles and excelled in them (granted they are much easier than harder sciences). I am very interested in psychology. I love to yze and understand human behavior and thinking. I want to get my ph D in psychology. Every time i make that decision i go back to being premed cuz i feel like CRAP about being a disappointment and a failure. My parents gave up their entire lifes for me education and now i am not going to be doing what they though i would. I easily feel saddened by all that and stay premed but than me mind wonders again. I took my daughter sled riding a couple weekends ago at the local country club. As I went down the hill I was sitting on my legs with my knees touching the sled, well there was a little ramp that some kids had made out of snow well it rained then it snowed and needless to say it froze a little bit so the ground was hard, well I hit that bump, not meaning to because I never saw it until after I had went down the hill, anyways my knees hit the ice and it was a hard a a rock, well they kinda both popped but after a few minutes I got up and walked away, well it's now maybe a week and a half later maybe a little longer, I worried I might have messed it up, but I have to pay when I go to the Doctor and it's not cheap so I thought I would just take it easy and see how it felt later but my left knee now locks up when I walk ( it didn't do that before) and it locks up to the point where I have to stop and hope there is something to grab on to and I get sharp pains in it and it's still a little sore, What could be the problem, I know I should go to the Doctor but that means X-rays and all that, so I just kinda want to get some advice first~

If oil climbs much higher, I cannot see how we could avoid a nasty episode of "stagflation". Speculators seem to be one of the few entities making money from this global funk! As energy costs climb, inflation takes off, but without any real value being added and subsequently job loss occurs. Then a vicious downward spiral plagues world economies! In a previous debate I was directed to Leviticus 18:22 to learn uality is an abomination. Jesus didn't remark on any of the above, as far as I know, instead preaching general tolerance and simplicity of faith. To my knowledge - though I'm no Biblical scholar - Jesus did not mention ity at all. Nor beards, or unclean pigs. So why do so many Christians adhere to this Old Testament pronouncement but not, say, selling daughters into slavery if they misbehave? Enlighten me, oh pious ones... or at least acknowledge there's room for debate.

Chipped molar related question?

I have noticed that my far back wisdom tooth has chipped a few months ago there was no pain for a couple of months but recently my molar has been aching a lot during midnight and the early mornings. The molar has a big chip on one side reaching down to the gum while the other half of the molar looks normal except for the middle of the molar where food pieces become trapped, i brush it to remove the food piece but sometimes when i brush the molar i get this kind of sensitive teeth like pain when i brush over it, the pain is like a pen stabbing from the inside and for some reason panadein forte and amoxcillin seem to be inefective against the severe pain.

Call your OB in the morning. More than likely they will prescribe Tamiflu for you, but be sure that that is what they advise before you begin taking it. My cousin is pregnant and her daughter was just diagnosed with H1N1 last week, and they put her on Tamiflu as she is high risk since she is pregnant. Also ask your OB what they advise you to do if you start to develop a fever or other symptoms. You should also consider asking about the symptoms that you are currently having, just in case. How do you stop people from teasing you?

I recently came home from college to spend some time with my family. Unfortunately, the whole weekend was filled with teasing from my three brother's and my sister and her boyfriend. Is this heartburn! I've never had this before?

I'm not necessarily nauseous, but i have more of a strange feeling in between my bbs, like right up my esophagus. and every now and then (tmi warning) it comes up like right before my throat.
